Spider-Man 3 is set to be one hell of a game changing movie, with a large number of previously portrayed characters from all three live action Spider-Man universes set to collide. We’ve seen reports of Kirsten Dunst’s Mary Jane Watson’s potential return, it’s been confirmed Alfred Molina’s popular Doctor Octopus will appear, but now it seems a hero away from Spidey is going to join the crew.
Recent reports suggest Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will also return to his most famous role for the movie.
Cox, who starred in three seasons of Daredevil on Netflix, is incredibly popular with fans and would be the first of Netflix’s Marvel shows to appear in the MCU if he does in fact show up.
The rumours, reported by Murphy’s Multiverse, have come on the back of numerous online fan protests to get Cox back in the role as they felt Daredevil was cancelled far too early.
One thing is for sure, with Spider-Man 3 set to bring all these classic portrayals together, and DC’s The Flash movie set to do something similar with Michael Keaton’s Batman returning to the franchise, there isn’t a better time to be a comic book movie fan!
