A Wonder Girl TV series is reportedly in the works at The CW, with Dailyn Rodriguez and Berlanti Productions at the helm.
The series will mark the first time a Latina superhero will headline a DC TV series, with the show following Yara Flor, a Latina woman who’s born of an Amazonian Warrior and a Brazilian River God.

Created by Joelle Jones, Yara had only been introduced in the comic books fairly recently and is set to make her first appearance in January’s Future State: Wonder Woman title.
While the original Wonder Girl is Donna Troy, it seems the CW intend to skip past Troy and go straight to the newly introduced Flor.
With Supergirl set to end after its sixth season comes to a close, it’s likely Wonder Girl is the show being brought in to replace Kara Danvers and her team.
