After recent success on his DCeased line of comics and on the Suicide Squad book, Tom Taylor can seemingly do no wrong.
Taylor has proven himself to be one of DC’s best writers and how recently revealed he’s working on a new Hellblazer title to feature on DC’s Black Label line.
The Australian took to Twitter to reveal the news in a tweet to his fans and admitted he’d been working on the book in secret with The Boys artist Darick Robertson for a long time.
Hellblazer is a horror comic starring John Constantine and – following Taylor’s success with DCeased – the horror genre is one he belongs to.
The book is title ‘Hellblazer: Rise & Fall’ and while there’s currently no release date announced, I’ll be waiting eagerly to give the book a read as anything Taylor does is sure to be gold.
Constantine has been a character that’s slowly grown on me over time. This could definitely be interesting. 🙂
I am too far out of the loop too… I haven’t heard anything about this new “Black Label” for DC.
The Black Label is like a section of DC comics that are aimed more towards adults than the regular comic books!
Wasn’t that the whole point of Vertigo? LOL.
