Batwoman actress Ruby Rose has opened up on her exit from the Arrowverse show and what led to her decision to leave the role.
On her Instagram page, the actress admitted it was a very hard decision to make, but hinted there may have been something additional that played into her decision to step down from the role of Kate Kane after just one solitary season.
“It wasn’t an easy decision but those who know, know.”
Many were shocked when it was announced last week that Rose had decided to leave the Arrowverse and the Batwoman role after such a short time in the role, but the actress made sure there was no hard feelings in her departure, expressing her thanks to everyone involved in the show.
“Thank you everyone for coming on this journey. If I mentioned everyone it would be 1000 tags.. but Thank you to the cast, crew, producers and studio.
“I didn’t want to not acknowledge everyone involved and how big this was for TV and for our community. I have stayed silent because that’s my choice for now but know I adore you all. I’m sure next season will be amazing also. Xxx *hangs up cowl and cape.”
With the showrunners looking to recast the role, many are speculating on who will step into Rose’s shoes and whether they’ll live up to her performance.
