The CW chairman and CEO Mark Pedowitz has announced plans for a Superman and Batwoman crossover at some point in 2021. With Batwoman headed for its second season and the new Superman and Lois TV show debuting later this year, Pedowitz announced plans for the two shows to crossover next year in The CW’s latest network scheduling call last Thursday.
Many speculated Batwoman’s next crossover would be with Clark Kent’s cousin, Supergirl, but it is the Man of Steel who will be teaming up with Rose’s Kate Kane. The event will take place over two hours and will feature the two superheroes working together.
The Arrowverse has seen a number of crossovers in the past, with most featuring the majority of The CW’s DC universe, but the network plans for the next crossover to just feature Superman and Batwoman with focus on smaller crossovers after the universe’s huge Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover earlier this year.
“We’re still working on it. It will be a smaller event than usual, we’re only planning a two-hour event. We are talking about doing Superman and Batwoman together. There’s a lot of characters coming from our other shows,” he said.

With it recently being announced Ruby Rose wouldn’t be returning for the second season of Batwoman, it remains to be seen who will replace the actress, but Tyler Hoechlin will be featured in the role of Superman.
